Has kept all our animals out of the kitchen and even occasionally scares the crap out of us too when we forget it is on! Great product to have around!.   We did not want traps or poisons because we have 4 dogs.

It saved me 1000s of dollars replacing my hardwood floors

I highly recommend this product. I thought it was going to have to replace my spare bedroom floors because my ex roommate had two nonhouse trained dogs. Easy to apply, we have not removed tape.  I got this and within the first day we had hit the spots. .  The stinch was strong.

We had to move a lot of our funiture out of the house during the project.  We have started sleeping on an air mattress. Review and our experience:For the price, I think that this is great! Our cat is a fairly quick study and only tests her boundaries once in a while.  We set up the Ssscat in the doorway for the room in which we have the mattress.  The kitchen windows and high perch were a tempting target for her.  Once we started using the ssscat, it only took her twice to learn that the risk of getting hissed at by the Ssscat was not worth the thrill of looking out of the windows.  Once again, she tried twice to enter the room, got hissed at and learned that the room was off-limits.  About two months later she started testing her boundaries again.  We put the Ssscat back out and she only needed one hiss to refresh her memory. It is great. Pros: It works as advertised, effective training aid, it has lasted several months with the same canister and batteries, portable, affordable, works to block off doorways and keep the cat off of countersCons: Targets anybody/everybody who triggers the motion sensor.  With our cat, who seems to be a quick study, this product works exactly like we needed it to.  We stopped using it the same week that we started because she learned and did not need it any more. Last month, we started remodeling.  Why I do not know but it is super annoying. We got this because she would jump up on the kitchen counters when we were not looking.

While it only took one spray to terrify my cat forever the bottle needed replacing pretty quickly after we received it.  However, all we need to do is have the sprayer visible to the car and he knows not to go near it. This works great for keeping the cat from unwanted places.

It is excellent.   My cats try to climb up or getting into areas only once because the sensor works so well that it scares them away.   They will not try again.   Super sensitive so you have to place them so you do not set them of every 5 seconds, but once you conquer the learning curve it works like a charm!  I recommend getting more than one so you can set in such a way to be most effective.

She has not even tried to climb up and eat our table plant since we got this. I really think the success of this product is more based on your animal's own personality.  It seems to only work sometimes. Works incredibly well. The motion detector is a bit lacking.

quick and easy solution

This was the solution to our cat's couch scratching problem, and it ended the behavior almost instantly.   If you want to teach a cat to stay away from your couch, kitchen counter, table, or whatever you have in mind, get this product.   This is the easiest and most effective solution I have seen anywhere.   The spray is completely harmless, but is enough of an annoyance to the cat that it will stay away from whereever you set it up.  Then, we saw this and thought we'd give it a shot and, hallelujah, it works! No more daily cleaning, no more lovely odor.

My cat takes every possible opportunity to jump up on the kitchen counter.  I put one of these on the counter and it scared the bajeezas out of her.  It has an on/off switch so I can turn it off when I am in the kitchen and turn it on when I leave for work.  The gas is totally inert.  It has no smell no taste and does not leave any physical mark on anything.  These work great!!! She will not go near them at all.

Best Cat Deterrent on the market.

Finally we can sleep through the night without our cat waking us up.  We tried many things to deter her, double sided tape, cat deterrent spray, playing with her at night.  I would buy this again and highly recommend it.  It is a little pricey but well worth it.  Please note will need 4 AAA batteries to make it work. It seems to really remove the smells in carpet.
